Beyond Domains does not
charge a fee for transferring your domain name from your current
registrar to Beyond Domains services, when your transfer is initiated
through your Beyond Domains Domain Management Account.
You are required to pay for one
(1) year of registration, which will be ADDED to your current
expiration date. So if your domain name is due to expire 08/01/02,
once transferred into Beyond Domains the expiration date will have one
year added to it and then be 08/01/03. For .COM .NET .ORG the cost is
$14.95, and for .CC the cost is $29.95.
Many of the transfers we
handle are from customers who are unhappy with their experience with
their current registrar. High pricing, lack of domain name control, no
response to e-mails requesting changes in e-mail addresses, passwords,
DNS setting, contact information, and a nightmare of paperwork for
transfers of ownership or registrars, are the most common reasons.
