In addition it is important that
the domain name you wish transfer, has not EXPIRED...
Domains names that have EXPIRED and are on HOLD,
can not be transferred, because the "losing registrar"
(your OLD registrar) can and will reject the
transfer. They do this because they can get you to renew with them
for another year, to insure you don't lose your domain name. In
cases where the domain has expired, unfortunately the best way to
handle this is to renew through them, and then you will be able to
transfer your domain into the Beyond Domains services. You will
just have an additional year of registration service.
If you are sure your domain name is not expired and you have
access to the e-mail account for the domain.....
Step 1 -
Create An
Account if you do not have one with Beyond Domains this
link will open the domain interface in a new window so you can
create an account. You DO NOT have to include Credit Card
information in the account creation process, simply skip this
section and scroll down to the submit button.
Step 2 - Click on the BUY NOW button below for the type ie: .com,
.net, .info. The BUY NOW button will open a new window and bring
you to a PayPal
form, where you will either sign in to your PayPal account, or
sign
up for a PayPal account.
Step 3 - The payment process confirms your source of funds
and asks for your preferences.
IMPORTANT:
In the "Special Instructions/NOTE" area
on the PayPal form,
please type in the domain name you want transferred.
Step 4 - Click the
PAY NOW button.
Once we have
received the PayPal Payment Confirmation we will initiate the
domain name transfer. You will receive an authorization from
Beyond Domains, at the e-mail address listed for the REGISTRANT.
IMPORTANT: YOU MUST RESPOND to the
TRANSFER AUTHORIZATION E-MAIL that Beyond Domains sends, by
clicking on the included link within the authorization e-mail and
then choosing AUTHORIZE, to complete the process. It should be
received within 24 hours of your order. If you do not
respond within 3 days the transfer request will be terminated.
In addition you may also receive an authorization e-mail from the
registrar the domain is currently with, asking for your permission
to transfer the domain into Beyond Domains services. If you do not
respond to their e-mail correctly, they may reject the transfer.
So watch for e-mails regarding your transfer, read them very
carefully and follow the instructions for authorization. The
LOSING registrars use techniques that can confuse the customer,
and many have REJECT selected by default, so be sure and read the

Step 4 - The transfer process will take 4 - 7 days.
Once the transfer is complete you will receive notification at the
REGISTRANT'S e-mail address which will give you the information
needed to access the account and manage the domain. At this point
you will have the ability to move the domain name from this
account into any other Beyond Domains account.
Handling Fee - Some customers ask about the HANDLING
FEE that Beyond Domains charges for the use of PayPal for payment
of domain name transfers and registrations. This fee covers the
2.9% that PayPal charges Beyond Domains to accept the money, but
more importantly, it also covers the time and cost involved in
MANUALLY transferring your domain name. If the customer uses a
credit card through their account at Beyond Domains, the transfer
process is completely automated.
